A warm front across Wisconsin lifted north during the afternoon and evening. Moist and very unstable air south of the front led to the development of severe thunderstorms across parts of Wisconsin. The storms decreased in intensity as they reached the waters of Green Bay but still managed to produce gusts to 40 knots over the southern part of the bay.
