An area of low pressure moved across New York State during Sunday and across New England Sunday night. A mixture of rain and snow spread across the area Sunday and Sunday night. The precipitation was mostly a wet snow in the higher elevations. Accumulations were generally 3 to 6 inches with a few reports of up to 8 inches in the higher terrain.
