Heavy wet snow occurred with snow levels dropping to about 3500 feet on Wednesday morning. Snowfall amounts were heaviest in northwest Montana with 6-8 inches at Polebridge (3531 ft), 10 inches at Marias Pass Summit, 14 inches at Stahl Peak, and two feet on Flattop Mountain. Across the south, snowfall ranged from 5 inches at Skalkaho Summit and Georgetown Lake, to 18 inches at Point Six. Along the North Fork of the Flathead River, one foot of snow was reported, damaging numerous trees from Camas Bridge to Hay Creek.
