Flash flooding in Fort Wayne with a general 4 to 6 inches of rain in 3 hours with reports of over 8 inches in 3 hours. Over 200 people were evacuated from homes. 500 homes received some flood damage with 15 homes condemned. 3 businesses sustained major damage, with one car dealership losing 95 vehicles to the flash flood. Total damage to property was over 5 million dollars.
