The airmass over Southwest Idaho was extremely warm and unstable, but moisture was limited as afternoon thunderstorms erupted. Dry thunderstorms produced outflow winds over 60 mph measured at the Twin Falls Airport, Jerome County Airport and at Twin Buttes RAWS observation site in northeast Owyhee County. Trees were blown down and irrigation equipment was damaged south of Twin Falls.
