The Panorama fire was ignited the end of July by a construction crew sawing through rebar. Four homes and two other structures were destroyed in the Spring Creek Reservoir area. More than 300 people were evacuated from over 200 homes in five subdivisions. A total of 1700 acres of mixed timber and brush were consumed by the fire. The fire was contained on the 2nd of August. The cost of fighting the fire was 400 thousand dollars.
