Event narrative

An arctic front moved through the state on October 29th, ushering in very cold temperatures. The coldest morning occurred on October 31st, where many all time low temperatures for the month of October were broken. Some low temperatures recorded in degrees Fahrenheit on the 31st included: 4 at Yakima, 8 at Bickleton and Whitman Mission, 12 at Sunnyside, 15 at Walla Walla, and 18 at Kennewick.
