The wider storm
Heavy snow blanketed the Mendenhall Valley in the Juneau area. At the Juneau International Airport 6.5" of snow was measured. Higher amounts of 7-11 inches occurred in the back of the valley (northern most portion) including at the NWS Forecast Office.
