Moderate to heavy rain late on the 18th and on the 19th resulted in flash flooding and small stream flooding. Runoff from heavy rain resulted in the flooding of numerous creeks, some of which flooded roads across Wilkes, Watauga, Alleghany, and Ashe counties.
