During the late evening on the 20th, thunderstorms produced heavy rain over the Vamori Wash. Radar estimated indicated 3-5 inches of rain fell along the border of Arizona and Mexico and a broader area of 2-3 inches fell over the village of Vamori and Cowlic. Tohono O'odham dispatch reported five home had been flooded in the village of Vamori. NWS survey team reported high water marks at 2.5 feet on several of the homes. The Vamori Was gage at Kom Vo peaked at 8.5 feet, where bankfull stage is 8.0 feet.
