A small thunderstorm with high winds moved through Loudoun and Fairfax counties in addition to the city of Falls Church during the morning of the 26th. In Loudoun County, the storm affected the areas of Countryside, Cascades, and Sugarland Run. Several trees were downed or damaged and trees were felled onto a preschool on Fernbank Court. Pea sized hail also fell near Dulles Airport. In Fairfax County, several trees were downed onto an apartment building in Reston. In Falls Church, a wind gust of 62 MPH was recorded.
