Flash flooding washed out a bridge over a culvert on Falbo Road in Perry Township. A driver was killed when he drove into the culvert after the bridge had been washed out.

Thunderstorms moved slowly along a stalled boundary, and produced very heavy rain and flash flooding over Fayette county during the early morning of August 23rd.
