A strong weather front moved across the Brooks range dropping 1 to 2 inches of rain over the Koyukuk River headwaters. A trained river observer at Wiseman reported the middle fork of the Koyukuk river was coming over its banks during the morning hours of the 15th. The State of Alaska Department of Transportation reported water on the road of the Dalton Highway between milepost 228 and 232 on the 15th.
