An upper level low near Laredo interacted with tropical moisture over South Texas to provide episodes of showers and thunderstorms that impacted the marine areas of the Middle Texas coast. Several thunderstorms produced wind gusts between 40 and 50 mph over the coastal waters during the morning hours and during the middle to late part of the afternoon on July 10th.
