Bunyan RAWS site near the Pamlico River reported a wind gust of 37 knots.

A cold front dropped southeast through the Eastern North Carolina coastal waters during the evening of April 15th 2014. A band of showers and scattered thunderstorms developed just ahead of the front and a few storms produced strong winds.
