Two fire fighters were killed on the Cramer Fire, 17 miles west of Shoup in western Lemhi County. Several days of hot and dry conditions caused the Cramer Fire to expand rapidly. The fire fighters were killed near a helipad waiting for a helicopter to pick them up, when the fire over took them.
