A low pressure center at low levels over western Alaska produced snow over the north central interior during the night of the 1st and through the day and evening of the 2nd. Storm Total at Bettles was 8.0 inches, with the snow beginning at 1153 pm on the 1st. The State of Alaska Department of Transportation and Public Facilities Maintenance Camp at Jim River received 7.0 inches from the event.
