Heavy Snow in Blue Mountains, Oregon

A powerful winter storm hit the Pacific Northwest on New Years Day. A deep surface low tracked across central and northeast Oregon, as well as southeast Washington. This resulted in heavy snow on the northwest side of the surface low track.
