A cold Pacific storm brought snow and heavy rain to sections of Southern California. In the mountains of Ventura and Los Angeles counties, 8 to 16 inches of snowfall was reported. In the Padua Burn area, California Highway Patrol reported flash flooding and mudslides which closed Mount Baldy road.
