Event narrative
The weak cold front continued to move southeastward, with showers and thunderstorms developing in Uvalde County near 1800CST. Heavy rainfall over the eastern part of the county produced general 1 inch rainfall with up to 3 inches in the Garner Park area. Six persons were safely rescued from two separate vehicles that were swept into the Sabinal river along Hwy127 near 2000CST.
