Event narrative

High winds from severe thunderstorms further to the northeast, caused a widespread dust storm with visibility reduced to a few dozen yards in blowing dust, over Interstate 10 from Buckeye to 75 miles west of Phoenix. A multiple vehicle accident west of Buckeye involved a commercial bus, seven cars and 16 commercial trucks resulted in four people killed (indirectly) and eight people injured (indirectly).
