Thunderstorms that developed in unstable air ahead of a cold front moved across Wisconsin, the Bay of Green Bay and Lake Michigan. The storms produced wind gusts of 43 knots to 50 knots over the nearshore waters and 37 knots over the open waters of Lake Michigan.
