Event narrative

A near severe thunderstorm drifted over Adjuntas during the afternoon causing heavy rainfall which caused the loss of a life as river Yayales, a small tributary of river Guilarte, surged out of its banks and flowed across the intersections of roads 131 and 135. A 59 year old woman drove a car into the moving waters, attempted to escape her car and was drowned.
