Event narrative

Up to seven inches of rain fell causing flash flooding. Numerous roads were flooded including roads in Hurdland and Edina. Also, Route V north of Knox City, Highway K near Colony, Highway 151 at Highway 156, and Highway 11 west of Baring were flooded.

An MCS developed and moved through forecast area. There were several reports of severe weather as well as flash flooding.
