The wider storm

A front made its way through Wisconsin and the nearshore waters of Lake Michigan as a strong low pressure system moved across the northwest part of the state. Thunderstorms developed in a moist airmass ahead of the front. These storms produced 38 knot winds on the southern Bay of Green Bay.
