A line of strong thunderstorms affected the nearshore waters of Lake Michigan from New Buffalo to Manistee. A peak wind gust to 36 knots was recorded at the GLERL site in Muskegon along the Lake Michigan shoreline. A gust to 35 knots was recorded at the airport in Holland, and a gust to 36 knots was recorded at the GLERL site on the pier of South Haven.
