Event narrative

Highway department reported numerous trees downed by high wind near the foothills including Camp Creek, Greystone and Cedar Creek.

Wider weather episode

A strong front tracked across east Tennessee during the morning hours. Most the damage was across higher elevations where numerous tress were downed. Flooding was also seen.
