The mesonet reported a gust of 65 mph at the NOAA wind tower at Camp Creek Elementary School in Camp Creek.

Wider weather episode

A strong front tracked across east Tennessee during the morning hours. Most the damage was across higher elevations where numerous tress were downed. Flooding was also seen.
