Strong Santa Ana winds impacted the coastal waters just off the Ventura County coast. Near Ormond Beach, the strong northeast winds capsized a 15 foot long boat. Two people were rescued and treated for hypothermia.

Strong and gusty Santa Ana winds impacted the coastal waters off the coast of Ventura county. In one incident, a 15 foot boat was capsized by the strong northeasterly winds. In another incident, a kayaker was blown about 600 yards offshore by the winds.
