A 45-year-old man was struck and killed by lightning at the Inniscrone Golf Course in London Grove Township. He was participating in a charity golf outing. Another member of that foursome was knocked off his feet by the lightning strike. The parent thunderstorm produced only three cloud-to-ground lightning strikes in that part of Chester County.
