Joliet received 6 inches of snow. In addition, blowing snow and icy roads were reported across the area.

Wider weather episode

The seasons first blast of arctic air arrived on November 9th. An arctic front moved through the Billings Forecast Area during the afternoon and evening hours of the 9th. The front ushered in a northerly upslope flow which resulted in heavy snow across portions of the Billings Forecast area.
