Event narrative

The South Fork of the Coquille River at Myrtle Point exceeded the minor flood stage of 33.0 feet at 21/1200 PST, exceeded the moderate flood stage of 35.0 feet at 21/1400 PST and exceeded the major flood stage of 37.0 feet at 21/1700 PST. The river crested at 37.50 feet between 21/1915 and 21/1930 PST. The river dropped below major flood stage at 21/2345 PST, dropped below moderate flood stage at 22/0645 PST, and dropped below minor flood stage at 22/1545 PST.

Heavy rain brought flooding to several rivers in southwest Oregon.
