A line of strong to severe thunderstorms moved quickly east across the western half of Lake Erie. These thunderstorms produced wind gusts in excess of 35 knots. A 56 knot gust was measured at the Lorain Harbor Lighthouse, and a 38 knot gust was measured at the Toledo Lighthouse. At South Bass Island, a 48 knot wind gust was measured.
