Torrential rainfall from Hurricane Dennis ranged from 8 to 11 inches. In Sylvester, 78 families were displaced by the flooding. Many county roads were under water. A total of 300 homes were evacuated and 80 damaged by the flood waters. Reported by the Worth County EMA.
