Event narrative

An outflow boundary from storms earlier in the evening moved through the Tucson Metro Area causing high winds including a gust of 82 mph (70 knots) on the roof of the University of Arizona Atmospheric Sciences building (3 story building). Also, a roof was torn off a house. An off duty National Weather Service employee estimated wind speeds to be 60 mph at 2000 MST.
