A wind gust of 40 MPH was recorded at AWOS site KSCF with a passing line of storms.

During the day of the 22nd a line of thunderstorms developed over the Central Texas coast and moved east into the Gulf of Mexico. This line of strong to severe storms arrived in the coastal waters of far Southeast Texas around midnight.
