The line of strong thunderstorms that moved southeast over the lake earlier in the evening weakened for while, then reintensified over the water near the shoreline. The thunderstorms intensified enough for strong winds to once again develop over the lake. Winds were estimated to reach at least 35 knots before the line dissipated along south shore of Lake Erie.
