A weak disturbace moving across the area generated a heavy snowfall in the vicinity of Nenana. The Chevron Gas Station employee there estimated six to 8 inches of snow had fallen as of 1000 ADT. Snowfall diminished after that with a total of 8.6 inches estimated by the time the event ended. Snow began falling at 2000 ADT on the 15th. The Cooperative Observer at Minchumina reported a snowfall at 0930 ADT that morning of 4.5 inches, with another 0.5 inches before the event ended later in the day.
