A line of strong thunderstorms moved through northern Ohio during the early morning hours of the 6th. The northern portion of this line of storms passed over the southern portions of Lake Erie causing wind gusts of at least 35 knots over the lake. Along the lakeshore near Port Clinton, a wind gust of 36 knots was measured.
