Strong thunderstorms continued progressing east and tracking along the southern half of Lake Erie during the morning hours of the 6th. The thunderstorms eventually progressed onshore near Geneva-on-the-Lake and continued east over the land. Winds on the lake were estimated to be at least 35 knots as the thunderstorms passed overhead.
