High east-southeast winds developed along the front associated with this system, as it raced northward through Southeast Alaska. Some peak wind gusts included: Sitka Airport 69 mph, Sisters Island 66 mph, Skagway Airport 63 mph, Mayflower Island 63 mph, Hydaburg 61 mph, Juneau Federal Building 59 mph, Yakutat Airport 58 mph, Eldred Rock and the Juneau Airport at 54 mph.
