An area of low pressure over the eastern Great Lakes region early on Thursday, the 24th of November moved across northern New York and into Quebec by the evening of November 24th. Steady snow spread across the area during the morning of November 24th and continued through the afternoon. The precipitation tapered off to snow showers during the evening. Snowfall accumulations were generally between 3 and 6 inches, with the heaviest amounts in the south portions of these areas.
