Severe thunderstorms rolled across Western Montana bringing large hail that broke windshields, damaged roofs, and flattened crops. Some severe wind gusts were also reported including one that blew over three mature Douglas fir trees in the Silverbow area, and another that knocked tree branches onto power lines causing a power outage.
