A line of strong to severe thunderstorms moved across northern Ohio during the late afternoon hours of the 19th. As the northern portion of this line of thunderstorms passed over the southern half of Lake Erie, winds gusts associated with thunderstorms were estimated to be at least 35 knots. Also, there were numerous reports of penny size hail with this line of thunderstorms along the south shore of Lake Erie from Maumee Bay to near Cleveland.
