Event narrative

Strong thunderstorms across portions of Cochise County produced strong winds that picked up large amounts of dust. At 1430 MST a trained spotter reported that the visibility was down to 1/4 mile in blowing dust near the Apache Station. The trained spotter also reported that wind gusts were as strong as 45 mph.
