A severe thunderstorm knocked down trees and wires in Paulsboro and Glassboro Boroughs and Deptford Township. Nine people were injured in Paulsboro when a large tree fell down onto a vehicle and a tent on West Broad Street. A group of people were having a holiday barbecue when the severe thunderstorm struck. One woman was seriously injured and required hospitalization as she was trapped underneath the fallen tree.
