The Ramp Fire started around 11:30 am at the junction of Interstate 15 and Hwy 18 in the San Bernardino Mountains. Gusty winds from afternoon thunderstorms aided in the spread of the fire. The Ramp Fire burned 450 acres and destroyed 8 structures. The cause of the fire is unknown.
