Dense fog developed in central Wisconsin as warm and moist air passed over much colder ground. The dense fog contributed to a head-on collision on Highway 29 in Wittenberg, near the Grand Avenue overpass, around 4:30 p.m. CST. A westbound truck crossed the median and collided with an eastbound minivan injuring 7 people (indirect), all of whom were treated at an area hospital and released later that same day.
