A large upper level trough with accompanying upslope flow moved across the area. From the evening of the 20th until midmorning of the 21st, snowfall ranged from El Paso county to Huerfano county, with totals ranging from 3 to 7 inches. Nearly 10 inches fell in extreme eastern Custer county across the Wet Mountains. Two to 6 inches of snow fell across El Paso county, and caused numerous traffic problems in Colorado Springs.
