The cold front that brought snow to northern Utah's Mountains created strong, gusty winds elsewhere in the state. Among the reports were a 61 mph (53 kts) wind gust at the St. George Municipal Airport and a 60 mph (52 kts) gust at Pinto Junction (6 miles west of Cedar City). No damage was reported from these winds.
